EAP FAQ

We understand you may have many questions regarding the Life Managment Services EAP. We have included a few of the most common questions we receive, along with the answers, below. If you do not see the answer to your question, then simply call us at 855-327-5433 or Contact Us.

Will my employer know if I or a member of my family contacts the EAP for services?

NO. Our EAP services are completely confidential. We do not release or discuss patient information unless you sign a release authorizing us to do so.

What are the costs for using the EAP?
Members have ZERO cost to use the EAP. The services of the EAP are paid for by your employer and / or union because they value you and the work that you do.

If you are referred to an outside resource, you will be responsible for the associated costs. Your benefits coverage and ability to pay are considered when making referrals.

What kind of problems can the EAP be contacted about?

The EAP addresses a variety of concerns including family and marital issues, drug & alcohol problems, emotional and psychological issues, financial issues, occupational issues and work related stress and more.

When I call the EAP, who will be helping me?

You will be speaking with one of our professional EAP consultants. All of our consultants have a Master's Degree in social work or counseling as well as many years of clinical experience.

How do I log in to the Member's Area?

If you employer is an EAP participant, then you should have received access information from them. If you did not or if you misplaced it, please contact your employer for the proper information or call the EAP and provide your employer information.
